When you launch a session of Carnival Beauties, you’re transported to the heart of the party. The background is a night sky with bursting fireworks and falling confetti. Overtop are the five reels that spin over three rows. Game icons fill out the Carnival theme and include symbols such as the iconic festival masks, colourful cocktails and hollering partiers.
To earn a payout, matching icons need to line up on one of the game’s 20 paylines. The paylines move left-to-right, so the matching icons need to start on the first reel and progress to the right. Choose how much you want to bet per round with the “Total Bet” buttons. The range is somewhat limited ($0.20 to $8), making it ideal for moderate bankrolls. A “Max” button switches the stake to $8—the biggest bet you can make.

The jackpot in Carnival Beauties has a prize that is proportionate with the bet size. It’s displayed above the reels, so as you adjust the total bet, the jackpot prize will increase or decrease. For example, a $1.00 bet would yield a $125 jackpot prize, and an $8.00 bet would yield a $1,000 jackpot prize.
To trigger the jackpot, you need to line up four or five Jackpot symbols on one of the game’s 20 paylines. The Jackpot symbols are festive-looking tambourines with “Jackpot” displayed over top, so you can’t miss them.
Samba Shot Icons
Keep an eye out for the Samba Shot symbols with a Carnival dancer spinning round the reels. If you land three or more on a payline, they trigger the game’s bonus wheel. A green wheel with six landing spots appears on screen for you to spin. Each landing spot has a unique prize, and as you’ll discover, some are better than others.
One prize—the Carnival Dancer—gets you access to the Samba Shot bonus round, which we’ll explain in the next section.
Bonus Icons
The second bonus symbol in Carnival Beauties is labelled “Bonus” and has a different Carnival dancer behind it. Land three or more on a payline to trigger the bonus, which has you select one of the dancers who initiated the bonus. Although the dancers are identical, they each hold a unique prize.
Typically, there is a mix of instant cash prizes and a Tropical Bonus one that takes you to a new screen for a bonus round.
Bonus Rounds
Samba Shot Bonus Round
Getting to the Samba Shot bonus round is a two-step process. As mentioned, you need to trigger the bonus wheel first. Then, you need to spin it and have the arrow land on the Carnival Dancer.
A new set of five reels appears on screen, and each one is under a jackpot. There’s Grand (3000X), Major (150X), Minor (50X) and Mini (20X) which start on the first reel and move right. Each reel has three rows, creating 15 total landing spots on the grid.
The bonus starts with three free spins. The icons are different from the base game; they’re multipliers that range from 1X to 10X. Every time you see a new one land on the reels, the free spin tally is replenished with three more added. The feature carries on until you either run out of free spins completely, or fill all of the landing spots on the reels with multipliers. Anyone who finishes with a full card of multipliers gets the game’s Grand Jackpot of 3000X.
Regardless of if you win the Grand Jackpot or run out of spins, you can rest assured that you’ll pocket a big payout from the Samba Shot bonus round. All of the multipliers that have landed on the reels are added together, and the sum is used as the total multiplier that gets applied to the bet that triggered the bonus round. Keep in mind, the absolute maximum multiplier possible is 3500X; you won’t see it get bigger than that.
Tropical Bonus Round
If you’re lucky enough to go to the Tropical Bonus Round, we wish you luck. You’ll need to pick the Carnival Dancer with the hidden Tropical Bonus prize to reach it.
On a new screen, a Caribbean dancer presents 10 different cocktails and asks you to pick six. Each drink has a hidden value that is revealed as you click and collect them.
At the end of the round, the unpicked drinks reveal their hidden cash values too, making it clear to see if you chose the right drinks for maximum cash. All of your picks will be tallied, and the total cash prize will go straight to your balance.
Buy Feature
At any point, you have the option of paying your way to either bonus round (Samba Shot and Tropical Bonus). For both bonuses, you have two options: Major and Minor.
